Hi Barb,

I met you this weekend at Chris Brown's demo at BarbaraJo's. I was the one admiring your scarf :-)

I would like to order a bangle, but I also want to send this out to some friends as I think they too would like to participate. I will send a like out to this site and have anyone who wants one email me back within a couple of days. Hopefully everyone is around over the Break!

Take care and thank you for doing this!

Hi Sheila,
Sorry for the delayed reply. Yes, I found I had the same concern. I did a few less rows on the 3rd (?) decrease and only knit 5 or so rows for the narrowest part of the waist. As I increased again, I increased to match the reduced number that I decreased. Does that make sense?

I'm now about to knit the sleeves but I'm mulling it over: my mom wants full length sleeves so I'm figuring out how I will cast on a smaller number of stitches and work in extra rows and increases. I guess I'll just have to wing it and see what happens.

How is your sweater coming along?

Hi Barb
I really love this cardigan and am looking forward to finishing it. However, I'm wondering if you have noticed any issues with the pattern.
My concern is this: the lower body is knit for 4 inches. Decreasing for the waist adds another 48 rows. With a gague of 8 rows per inch, the 48 rows would add 6 inches. Now we're at 10 inches.
However, the pattern says the piece at this point should be 7.75 inches.
I e-mailed Laura. Her response was: The gauge is compressed a bit through the waist decrease section.

Have you worked your pattern this far? If so, how did you deal with this?
Regards
